Steve enjoys the challenge he faces with each new customer to design the home that really matches their needs and ideas. Steve is well-versed in every aspect of the building process and has a keen understanding of modular construction techniques, including knowledge of the differences between the various manufacturers. His favorite aspect though is helping a customer determine what their home will look like and what it will include.
One of the funnest side of Steve is his approach to green living. In the past, Steve successfully lived off the grid for two years. Unlike most people that make green choices, he views green living not from an environmental stand point, but from a "techie" stand point. How hot can I produce water on a -10 degree day? Can I make my meter run backwards?
Justin Richards
Residence: East Wilton, Maine
Justin brings over 10 years of sales and construction experience to the table. From frame to finish he was involved in the building of more than 50 homes, garages, and small commercial buildings throughout the state of Maine. Upon completion of his B.A. at U.S.M. Justin moved from carpentry to sales and has spent the past several years involved with Financial Product & Insurance sales. He is very excited to combine his construction background with his sales skills here at Schiavi Home Builders. It is my goal to provide professional, knowledgeable service in a courteous and respectful manner in every aspect of the home building process from sales and design to completion.
Outside of work, Justin shares his life with his girlfriend and daughter and their black lab, Cody. They love the outdoors and enjoy camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with our family.
Jim Erskine
Residence: Turner, Maine
Jim's first focus during the homebuilding process is getting to know the customer. Building a new home is a very personal endeavor. Each home is a reflection of the customer's life. Jim encourages his customers to bring all of their ideas and plans to the table. He works diligently to assure a seamless transition between the sales and design process and the Schiavi Home Builders construction department.
Jim maintains strong community connections. He is actively involved in many alumni activities and athletics at Colby College. He enjoys fishing & hiking with his wife and 2 daughters and "working" with his border collie, Kenzie
